Nominal reports

Your nominal ledger contains all of the individual accounts that show your income, expenditure, assets and liabilities. To ensure that your accounts are accurate and to resolve any accounting queries which may arise, you need to be able to easily check the balances and activity on these accounts. Sage Accounts contains a range of nominal reports to help you do this.

To run a nominal report

  1. Modules > Nominal Ledger.

Tip: To select specific nominal accounts to run the report for, from the Layout drop-down menu choose List, then select each nominal code required.

  2. Reports > in the left-hand pane, click the report area, for example, Nominal activity.
  3. In the right-hand pane, select the report you want to run, for example, Nominal Activity.

  4. From the Report Browser toolbar, click the action you want to take, for example, Print or Preview.
  5. If a Criteria window appears, enter any required criteria > OK.

Tip: To make this even easier, you can add reports to your Favourites. Find out more
